Ever got tired of all unpacking of scene releases where movies (and software)
is distributed in multi-volume RAR archives. For each archive you need to find the archive’s start file, maybe create a destination directory, copy the NFO file etc, etc…
This tool tries to ease the process of unpacking these scene releases. Instead of focusing on RAR-files, the tool takes as input a directory, which is scanned for archives. A destination folder tells you where to to unpack.
Top directories are created as needed. Extra material, for example, NFOs are copied automatically.
You can use drag’n'drop to scan directories, and set destinations. Values
are remembered between runs. Several archives can be unpacked in parallel.
Download
Download the required files. You need to have .NET 2.0 installed. You can download the runtime from Microsoft.
Installation
Copy the files to any destination. Create your own shortcuts as needed.
Tip: If you create a shortcut in %USERPROFILE%\SendTo you can use the context
menu, on folders, to open the application and scan the selected folder.
Be aware. This tools is released as free software. I take no responsibilities
for any lost of data, etc.

About that screenshot, you haven’t blurred out the titlebar, so you can still see what you are extracting :p lol. You are a dirty pirate…just like the rest of us
Ups. Must fix.. Quick
Vidar. I downloaded your version. Though, I couldn’t use it due to my lack of MSMQ. I’ll install it later on…
Hello! Can it also create folders for each files? E.G. I hav a pack of files that has several folders. When i extract them to specified folder i want it also to create each files folders.
Well. Use the “Append” options, to create folders as appropriate. The first option, “Last part” first creates a folder named the same as the “source” folder beneath the target location. The second, “prefix”, creates a subfolder named after the folder where the archive was found, so if the archive was fund under/bla/bla/archive.rar, there will be a target subfolder /bla/bla.
These options can probably be extended. It’s a simple tool. I just use for personal purpose.
And the intention is archives having a few number of files.

Hey!
I just tried out your kinky tool. Pretty nice gui. (Like it more than the SCRU)
I have a few ideas if you got time for developing a new Version.
For my usability, i’d like to use it like this:
1. select the dir where all the different releases are. (ie: g:\downloads\)
2. having a watcher in background who always checks for new *.rar files. (not very important)
3. after all *.rar’s are found, i want it to check for a sfv (wich is always packed with the rars) and check this sfv before each unpack. and i only want it to unpack if the sfv check was successful.
4. after successful sfv check and unpack, i want it to delete the .rar (and .r01, r02 etc..) and the sfv file. and this for each release containing a .rar
possible?
